Automatic Tab Preparation Machine
Automatic Tab Preparation Machine (TPM) is designed to prepare Tabs in reel form for use on Automatic Winding Machines for CVTs. The output Tab reel consists of copper strips stitched at precise intervals onto an aluminium carrier foil which can be conveniently loaded onto automatic winding machines.
Features
- Welded steel structure and precision machined to mount all the assemblies ensures perfect alignment.
- De-Coiling Unit for aluminium carrier foil driven with servo tension control system maintains precise tension on the carrier foil during the rapid start - stop cycles.
- Take-Up Unit for stitched Tabs (output reel) driven by a servo motor results in precise control of Tab pitch.
- Tab Strip De-coiler with motorised feed unit forms the Tab and feeds pre-set length of Tab into the stitching unit ensuring perfect alignment.
- Tabs are automatically pierced onto Aluminium carrier foil using Specially designed profile pins and flattened by a pneumatically actuated tool.
